PBAS is a non-partisan, non-profit corporation established to focus attention on issues that impact the business community, by identifying issues of vital concern to independent business leaders. PBAS provides private business owners and community leaders with the means to stay informed of current and relevant issues. The group works to achieve open lines of communication with elected officials and business leaders in order to promote effective solutions. PBAS invited all candidates for Seminole County Commission who are facing opposition in the primary.
Those joining us will include:
County Commissioner - District 2
πΉ Katrina Shadix, founder and executive director of Bear Warriors United; and an appointed member of the Central Florida Expressway Authorityβs Environmental Advisory Group.
πΉ Brittany Walker, mother, businesswoman, and local conservative activist; founder of Eques Consulting; Vice President of the Republican Club of Lake Mary.
πΉ Commissioner Jay Zembower, the incumbent, has represented Seminole county on many regional boards including the Little Big Econ State Park Advisory board, Metroplan Orlando, Sanford Orlando International Airport board, Orlando Economic Partnership board, and the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.

πΉ Commissioner Amy Lockhart, the incumbent, was first elected to the School Board in 2012, and subsequently re-elected in 2016, Amy served as vice-chairman for two consecutive years, followed by an additional two years as chairman.
